Future Urban Sustainability

Beschreibung

This workshop took a critical stance on the local implementation of the SDGs from the perspectives of diverse urban actors. The 13 presentations provided diverse perspectives on emerging and persistent issues that urban sustainability agendas need to address more strongly; on people, places and practices that have to be fully recognised in urban policy and planning; on innovative methodologies for developing and implementing sustainability indicators; and much more. In this way, it contributed to ongoing debates on accelerating SDG implementation over the coming five years as well as the post-2030 agenda.
