Beschreibung
This session explores the intersection of Open Science and Digital Humanism, asking how we can foster research practices that are open, inclusive, and responsive to societal needs. Participants will examine the promises and paradoxes of openness in the "age of AI", where knowledge is both more accessible and more vulnerable to commodification and misuse. Drawing on insights from science and technology studies (STS), we will engage with practical and ethical challenges in designing infrastructures and generally a scientific culture that prioritize the common good. The workshop will include short interactive reflection exercises, inviting participants to rethink the role of technoscience in shaping democratic, just, and sustainable futures.
