Abstract

Mammalian CYK-4 polypeptides, which are key molecules required for cytokinesis, and DNA molecules encoding them. Screening methods based on biochemical reactions relevant for the function of CYK-4 can be employed to identify compounds interfering with cell division. Such compounds are useful in tumour therapy.
