Activity: Talks and presentationsTalk or oral contributionScience to Science

Description

The Rainbow Austrian Longitudinal Family (RALF) study examines the family functioning of LGBTQ+ parent families in Austria, focusing on risk and resilience factors at the individual, couple, and family level. This longitudinal study will involve 150 LGBTQ+ parent families, grouped into three child age cohorts, with data collected through online questionnaires and observational methods. RALF integrates participatory research and machine learning to address intersectionality and capture the complexity of these families’ experiences. With data collection starting in 2025, the study aims to improve visibility and well-being of LGBTQ+ families, informing inclusive practices and policies in family politics, education, and healthcare.
