    HAMBURG, 31-Aug-2016 — /EuropaWire/ — The Second European Convention on Turkic, Ottoman and Turkish Studies will take place at Universität Hamburg from 14 to 17 September 2016. Over 400 participants from 25 countries make this conference the largest academic event devoted to Turkey’s past and present and the Turkish-speaking diaspora. Interested members of the public are warmly invited to attend the extensive adjunct program, for example the podium discussion on Turkey at its limits or the documentary film
