Curriculum vitae
Fabrizio is a university assistant/PhD candidate at the University of Vienna and a performing arts practitioner. Based in China between 2009-2019, Fabrizio’s performance practice includes his activity as producer, curator and dramaturg. Between 2016-2019 Fabrizio served as Artistic Director at Ibsen International. He given guest lectures at institutions including the Danish National School of Performing Arts, University of Sydney, University of Oslo and University of Florence. He collaborated with several European and Chinese organizations including Beijing Fringe Festival, Beijing Theatre Olympics (2014), Guangzhou Dance Festival, Shanghai Dance Biennale (2019).
Research interests
Research interests include: performance practices in the Chinese-speaking region; experimental and postdramatic performance; dance theatre (tanzteater) and dance dramaturgy; feminist and queer performance; documentary film and theatre; performance artivism (art+activism).
