Research interests

The research work of Ivana Havelka focuses on ex situ interpreting in court and interception interpreting for the police. In her doctoral thesis she describes ex situ interpreting strategies in the health care sector. She is part of an international transdisciplinary research group investigating the work of interpreters in intercepted communication. Her most recent research includes interpreting related digital competences, digital well-being and strategies in audio and video interpreting.
