The evaluation of the Vorarlberg child and youth welfare system (including the 2013 reform of the Child and Youth Welfare Act) was conducted in several modules. At the core of the evaluation was, among other elements, a quantitative online survey of all child and youth welfare (KJH) system partners in Vorarlberg. The survey covered KJH professionals at the district authorities, professionals in private KJH institutions in Vorarlberg, as well as professionals in care, education, health, and social-sector institutions. In addition to surveying professionals, an online survey was also conducted among parents and other caregivers responsible for upbringing who are or were in contact with KJH and its system partners. Besides these central surveys, the evaluation also included a secondary analysis of data for the State of Vorarlberg that had been collected in 2017 as part of the evaluation of the Federal Child and Youth Welfare Act (B-KJHG). In total, n=108 parent questionnaires and n=416 questionnaires from professionals were included in the analysis.
