Abstract

Starting from jV-methyl-l-{(35',45')-4-[2-(trifluoromethyl)phenoxy]-3,4-dihydro-l//-isochromen-3-yl}methanamine (1) target compound 2 is prepared using a mild, direct alkylation approach with 2-fluoroethyl trifluoromethanesulfonate.
