Abstract
This volume assembles contributions from the international congress »Rethinking Europe (with)out Religion« which was organized by the research platform »Religion and Transformation in Contemporary European Society« on the occasion of the end of its three year term and took place in February 2013. Researchers from different disciplines such as philosophy, diverse theologies, religious studies, social science and law pursue the question of the meaning of religion in today's »(post-)secular« Europe. The articles address the visions that different religions can contribute to the European project, to the further development of the European idea and to an inclusive and pluralistic society.
