Abstract

Nutrition and consumer education focus on the acquisition of knowledge and skills in the fields
of nutrition, health and consumption and should enable students to make well-founded judge-
ments and actions resulting from these. Mathematics is often used to make factual and dispos-
able knowledge accessible in this context and to build up related orientation knowledge: data
is collected, and quantitative relationships are presented.
