Abstract
Two different groups of potassic white mica with intermediate celadonite contents, occure at the northern margin of the Paleozoic Greywacke Zone (Eastern Alps, Salzburg). They are affected by very low grade to low grade metamorphic Variscan as well as Alpine metamorphic events. The phengitic population will be interpreted as intermediate-pressure formation during Variscan metamorphism. Data of IIlite- and Chlorite-crystallinity are corresponding with pT -conditions similar to first appearence of Paragonite and Pyrophyllite.
